Nick Dumas & Branchline is a high-energy bluegrass powerhouse fronted by one of the genre’s most respected young vocalists and mandolinists. A three-time IBMA award winner and Grammy nominee, Nick Dumas first gained national attention during his four-year tenure with the legendary Chicago-based bluegrass band, Special Consensus. Now leading his own touring band, Dumas has assembled a "who’s who" of elite pickers to form Branchline.
The band features a lineup of award-winning musicians, including two-time Wisconsin State fiddle champion Hana Dumas, IBMA Momentum Vocalist of the Year Daniel Thrailkill on guitar, Skyline Records CEO Will McSeveney on banjo, and Andrew Knapp on bass. Together, they deliver a seamless blend of traditional heart and contemporary drive, showcased on their chart-topping singles like "Afraid to Say Goodbye." Known for their tight harmonies and top-notch instrumentals, Nick Dumas & Branchline are quickly becoming a must-see band on the national festival circuit bringing an unforgettable performance!

Hana Dumas
fiddle & vocals
Hana Dumas is an accomplished fiddler and vocalist from Sturgeon Bay, WI. She is a two-time Wisconsin State Fiddle Champion! Hana has spent most of her life playing the fiddle, growing up playing in her family bluegrass band, Fairland Bluegrass, along with some other regional Wisconsin bluegrass and country bands across the state. Aside from touring with Branchline, Hana also performs at her home venue The Fiddler's Farm with the resident country, bluegrass, and western swing band, a popular destination in busy Door County, WI. She also has a fond love for horses and owns her own business, Door County Horsemanship in Sturgeon Bay. She is a full time horseback riding instructor, trainer, as well as manager/owner of the boarding facility. She also offers trail rides on the property as well! Hana brings adds so much to the great sound of the band with her fantastic lead singing, her harmonies and incredible fiddle playing!

Daniel Thrailkill
Guitar & Vocals
Making his home in Newton, NC, Daniel Thrailkill is easily one of the top guitar players and vocalists in the bluegrass music scene today! In 2018, Daniel won the IBMA Momentum Award for Vocalist of the Year! Daniel co-founded the popular North Carolina based bluegrass band The Trailblazers and toured with them nationally for a number of years! He also tours with his wife, award-winning fiddle player and vocalist, Carley Arrowood. In addition to playing music, Daniel also runs Logos Rebinding which is his own Bible rebinding business. He does incredible leather work! His musicianship is some of the best in the business. His fun personality, his driving rhythm dynamics, crystal clear solos, and smooth vocals add such a wonderful texture to the Nick Dumas & Branchline sound and experience to every performance!



Will McSeveney
Banjo
Nashville, TN based Will McSeveney has been playing banjo for most of his life! Originally from Bellevue, WA, Will and Nick have known and have been playing music together for years in various different bands. Both Will and Nick are co-founders of the popular northwest based band North Country. Will has since moved to Nashville, TN and is working as an attorney in the entertainment industry. In addition to that, Will is also the president of Nashville based Skyline Records, working as a producer for the label as well! Will has produced a few great Skyline projects including Nick's 2022 and 2025 releases. Will's rock solid traditional banjo playing adds a drive to the band that everyone wants to hear in a hard driving bluegrass band! Inspired by players like Terry Baucom, JD Crowe, Ron Block, and Ron Stewart, Will's unique sound captivates the audience and adds a wonderful sound element to the band!

Andrew Knapp
Upright bass
Andrew Knapp picked up the bass at 10 years old and never looked back. A native of Seattle, WA, he is one of the premiere bassists to come out of the Pacific Northwest. Andrew can also be seen with Seattle-based bluegrass band The Warren G. Hardings, as well as Nick Dumas and Chris Luquette as part of the Dumas, Luquette & Knapp Trio. As a classically trained jazz bassist, he has performed with nationally recognized artists such as Kenny Garrett and Terence Blanchard, toured Europe and Brazil, and played on ships for Carnival Cruise Lines. A graduate of the Whitworth University Jazz program and a member of Nick Dumas & Branchline since its inception in 2022, Andrew's fun, lively style drives the band forward with infectious groove.
